Your driver-guide will pick you up in the morning and whisk you away to the charming Cotswold countryside, showcasing the area’s beauty through idyllic villages and quaint family-owned shops. The morning itinerary will be tailored to suit your interests. We can explore picturesque villages like Lower Slaughter, Blockley and Snowshill, famed for the winter scenes in the Christmas classic Bridget Jones. You can shop in the family-owned stores in Broadway and Chipping Campden, find a luxe gift at Daylesford Farm Shop, and stop for a light bite and drink in front of a cozy fire in a traditional Cotswold pub.
For the afternoon, nestled in a picturesque Cotswold house with stunning views our renowned local baker will host an exclusive afternoon tea baking experience in her beautiful home. You’ll be warmly welcomed into this beautifully decorated country house, complete with a Christmas tree to set the festive mood. After enjoying a warming mug of mulled wine, you’ll head to the kitchen to bake some of England’s favorite Christmas treats.
You’ll be guided through the art of baking the perfect mince pie and perfecting your piping skills on homemade gingerbread cookies. You’ll make and bake mince pies, gingerbread decorations, and spiced hot chocolate. For families we could even create a fun ‘Great British Bake Off Festive Competition’.
After a busy two hours of baking, you’ll gather around the table to savor your Christmas creations, with carols softly playing in the background and mulled wine flowing. It’s the perfect way to spend a cold winter’s day.

My brother and I grew up on our parent’s farm in rural Alabama, so when he, my mother, and the rest of the family came to visit me in a London, they wanted to see the British countryside. We couldn’t have picked a better guide for this than Robin Dale. Robin’s deep knowledge of the Cotswolds and adaptability made the tour one of the best parts of our trip. Josh, USA.
