After time to soak up Oxford’s festive atmosphere, we’ll make the short journey to the magnificent Blenheim Palace, one of the UK’s most celebrated attractions and a truly magical destination during the Christmas season.
This year, visitors can step into the timeless fairytale of Cinderella. Entering the Great Hall, you’ll be welcomed by a towering Christmas tree that marks the beginning of the beloved story, while each State Room brings a different chapter of the classic tale to life. As midnight strikes, a glass slipper leads Prince Charming to a fairytale Christmas wedding, and of course, no visit would be complete without seeing the iconic pumpkin carriage – the ultimate festive selfie spot.
Beyond the Palace, guests can browse Blenheim’s charming Christmas Market (13th Nov – 20th Dec), where local artisans and traders offer a wonderful selection of festive gifts, seasonal treats and handcrafted goods. Enjoy the sights, sounds and aromas of Christmas as you wander through the market before experiencing the Palace’s spectacular illuminated light trail, creating a magical festive experience for visitors of all ages.
