Wales & England Highlights

Transferring from England to North Wales or vice versa there are lots of great points of interests, castles, historical sites, cute market towns and true off the beaten back destinations that your driver guide will tailor this transfer tour of the Wales & England highlights.

One of our favourite British sites is the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. It is the longest aqueduct in Great Britain and the highest canal aqueduct in the world. The views and experience is a true unique moment to embrace. We can walk across or memorably taking one of the boat trips across is one of our must do’s in England.

On the English and Welsh border is the charming town of Ludlow and Ludlow Castle which has played a key role in some turbulent events in English history. One of its 14th-century owners, Roger Mortimer, helped his mistress Queen Isabella, in the overthrow of her husband King Edward II. In 1473, the Prince of Wales and his brother were held here before their mysterious death in the Tower of London. In 1502 Prince Arthur, Henry VII’s son and heir to the throne, died at Ludlow.

A fun and informative visit is ensured at the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums. Whether you are attracted to fine china, decorative tiles, fun interactives or a Victorian recreated town, it’s all to be found in the stunning World Heritage Site of Ironbridge. Step back in time at Blists Hill Victorian Town or marvel at the world’s first cast iron bridge. The Ironbridge Gorge changed the world forever as it was here that the Industrial Revolution first started.

Warwick Castle is one of the best examples of a Castle still in use. You can immerse yourself in a thousand years of history and climb the Castles walls and interact with live demonstrations and talks throughout the day. Our transfer tour from one location to another will truly maximise your time and show you the Wales & England highlights.
