Step into a festive fairytale with our Cotswolds Christmas & Cinderella at Blenheim Palace Tour. A magical winter day combining charming Cotswold villages, cosy country pubs, and one of England’s most spectacular Christmas events.
Beginning around midday from your hotel, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling countryside, visiting picturesque villages and market towns such as Burford and Bibury, along with the elegant Daylesford Farm Shop for a touch of luxury Christmas shopping. The day can also be tailored to include Downton Abbey’s village of Bampton or a stop at Clarkson’s Farm Shop for a taste of rural Cotswold life.
After a leisurely afternoon exploring, we can pause for a late country pub lunch or festive snack, soaking up the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional English inn. As the afternoon draws on, the tour continues to the magnificent Blenheim Palace, where Christmas magic awaits.
This year, visitors can step into the timeless fairytale of Cinderella. Entering the Great Hall, you’ll be welcomed by a towering Christmas tree that marks the beginning of the beloved story, while each State Room brings a different chapter of the classic tale to life. As midnight strikes, a glass slipper leads Prince Charming to a fairytale Christmas wedding, and of course, no visit would be complete without seeing the iconic pumpkin carriage – the ultimate festive selfie spot.
Before entering the Palace, there will be time to browse Blenheim’s charming Christmas Market (13th Nov – 20th Dec), featuring local artisans, handcrafted gifts and delicious seasonal treats. As dusk falls, enjoy the option of following Blenheim’s spectacular illuminated Light Trail (4.30-6.30pm) through the palace grounds – a breathtaking journey of lights, colour and festive wonder that delights visitors of all ages.
Alternatively, if preferred, we can whisk you away to a nearby countryside pub for a relaxed dinner before returning to your hotel. This private tour captures the very best of the Cotswolds’ Christmas charm and the festive magic of Blenheim Palace, perfectly balanced for a day of seasonal indulgence and English elegance.
The Cinderella at Blenheim Palace experience runs from Friday 13th November 2026 to Sunday 3rd January 2027. This tour would start around 11 am-7pm.
