We’re not going mad! Although Provence is around a 1,000 miles away it’s just a tad too far for us to visit in a day, we’re fortunate in the Cotswolds we have our very own stunning Cotswold Lavender farm the largest in the United Kingdom in fact, and for the 6 weeks of the year this flower blooms it has become a very popular attraction in the Cotswolds.
Before the gates open to the public the farmer is going to give you a private run down of the farm, he will explain the varieties of lavender, how it’s farmed and then finally how it’s produced and placed into products in the shop. He will explain all of this whilst walking around the fields with you and giving you private access to the fields before they’re open to the public. This private experience is a truly unique experience for anybody with a horticultural background or general interest in flowers.
The Cotswold Lavender farm experience is at 930 am for 30 minutes and is a superb experience to add to a uniqueness to a tour. The rest of the day could be a pick of any of the tours on offer and in particular this experience combines well with the Cotswold Garden Tour or Our Famous Tour of the Cotswolds.

Our 5 days in the Cotswolds was truly like no...
