Cotswold Cheese Making & South Cotswolds

Come join us for a unique and exciting experience at a family dairy farm famous for their delectable cheeses. Your guide will take you on a journey through the art of cheesemaking, taught to you by Ceri, a fifth-generation cheesemaker at the farm who has revived the renowned Wiltshire Loaf cheese. Engage fully in the entire farm experience, from meeting the hardworking ladies responsible for the rich milk used in the cheese, to witnessing the entire process first-hand, leading up to the final product on your kitchen table.

Throughout your time, you will be guided step by step through the cheese making process, learning the secrets of this fascinating craft. Depending on the day, you may get the chance to make Feta, Ricotta, Halloumi, Mozzarella, and more delicious cheeses. After creating these beautiful cheeses, not only will you have the opportunity to sample them, but also taste other treats crafted at the dairy. You’ll even have the chance to take home some of these delicious samples. And what better way to end this experience than by naming your very own cheese? Seize the moment to name a cheese, an opportunity you don’t get every day! We look forward to hearing the next famous British cheese name!

After an eventful day at the farm, venture into the picturesque South Cotswolds region. Take a trip to the charming village of Lacock, made famous by its appearances on film and TV. Offering a perfect blend of Cotswold stone architecture and medieval homes. Harry Potter fans, in particular, should not miss a visit to Lacock Abbey, along with Harry’s Mother’s House in the village too. Just nearby is Castle Combe, a serene village nestled in a gently rolling valley often dubbed the “prettiest village in England”. King Charles’s hometown of Tetbury is a great way to finish the day.
